TC to the rescue
We spent a very pleasant weekend with TC…..although largely wet and grey
On Saturday the RNLI held an open day in Stornoway. Rusty and I went along with the children, and had a fun half an hour clambering all over the Lifeboat. TC was very humbled by the experience

The children loved it, even in the rain

I know A doesn’t look like she’s having fun…..but she is…..honest!

Even Rusty was prepared to look slightly silly for the sake of TC!
Off to the Heb again for the evening……

TC rocked out to a couple of bands

….and graciously agreed when a man on stilts begged for a go

Later this week TC will be off travelling again…..overeseas I believe, so watch out for the next exciting installment!
N and I have friends arriving this evening - just hope the weather improves

The guy on stilts must be the one of TC so far—hope it didn’t get too drunk
The guy on stilts must be the best one of TC so far—hope it didn’t get too drunk
I think that the marriage of TC and the blonde hair must have been made in heaven … or from a great height.
We would like to cordially invite TC for a visit to the sunny climes of Sussex. Perhaps in October when he could participate in the re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings? J, C & D xxxx
Just drop me a line when you’ve despatched TC to Sweden and I’ll update his blog for him
Looks like TC had a great time :D. What was TC’s favourite band?
I think the goggle-eyed man on stilts might even beat the piper…what a great time the TC is having. Who would have thought it!
I do hope it behaves itself in Sweden. We don’t want to see it being flagellated by birch twigs in a sauna, now do we?
Oh yes,we do !!!
Öööööh, it’s in the way then! What a good thing we got back from France in time to roll out the honours and do the carpet. I will start to think out some really Swedish things for TC to do .. much more exciting than birching! (I hope). TC is certainly onto a rockandroll time in Lock’s blog.
WWWWHHHHAAAAATTTTT ????????????????????????????????
Barney was in france and he didn’t tell me???
sniff sniff
That reminds me of the old Bonny Tyler song

The lip-synch is hilarious!
Well TC was “lost in france” at one point
Sorry Taddoe, but we were in Auvergne not Provence.. it was a nice trip even though we didn’t get to meet you. Maybe NZ in ayear or two.
Barney,I’m not in Provence either–”Auvergne” starts 90miles away—i’d have drove up in meighi to see you all if i had known–would have been a day out
still Nz is only a couple of months away for me
Oh Taddoe, so near and yet so far! What a gaffe on my part. Or yours maybe, for not making clear the name of your temporary abode? Or neither - the hand of Fate has thrown tricky dice again!
SarahMac is a sweeetie! Tea Cosy arrived two days ago together with a post-card of black houses and - a packet of Hebridean Kitchen Vanilla Tablet!! Of these there are now four (4) left.
Tea Cosy has already had some adventures of which pictorial evidence will, with a little help from friends, be revealed in due course. Thanks again SarahMac!
Well barney, you can send the rest of the tablet to me
effingrannye sent me some along with tc—it was ssooo goooooooooooooooooood:
No I can’t Taddoe - I would have to send myself. Time’s wingéd arrow, you know.
barney:-
Tcha, typ! (That’s slang from Swithiod, in case you didn’t cotton on).
Hi Sarah
Loved the picture of you on the beach wearing the blue knitted bob cap. You seem to have lost more than a fair bit of weight since Malina and I last saw you!
It’s rather nice to see someone stick her nose through the aperture in Teacosy…one has heard so many disturbing rumours as to its fate in various places…
