Sad News

Very sadly Eric passed away yesterday morning.  Poor wee soul was just not strong enough.  D next door tells me (on a more positive note) that 2 new lambs were born overnight……but Eric will be missed

Poor little lambie, at least he had some lovely days in the sun, and won’t now have to brave the hebridean bad weather …

    Eric was a little lamb
With fleece as white as snow
And when poor Eric passed away
His friends all said ‘Oh no!’

That was a thoughtful poem Les.

No lamb chops. Oh well, that’s life. (Heartless, that’s my middle name).

Poor wee Eric … even little lambs leave a gap in one’s day. It is a case of survival of the fittest.
There is but one consolation … no-one will partake of him with mint sauce.

Poor Eric, Bless his wooly socks xx

    Mary had a little lamb
she tied it to a pylon
10,000 volts shot up its arse
and turned his wool to nylon

So now we know how he died  I know there’s not much to do up there but there are limits surely?

No, I did not suggest tying Eric to a pylon (but the thought obviously crossed my mind).

    Oh. Dear.
    Mary had a little pig,
    She couldn’t stop its gruntin…
No. It’s no use. I can’t go on. I do apologise sarahmac. Don’t know what came over me…

Horrible mistake. I meant: I did not suggest tying ERIC. I meant: RUSTY!! Rusty, not Eric. Yes, 3 Ave Marias for me.

sorry mjc Rusty is a bit busy at lunchtime……having a tooth out. It’s going to take 2 of us (her husband and I) to get her in there, and then to man-handle a drugged up, aggressive (toothless) girl home again. I’ll take the camera, will post later!!
